My Story

Hi, I’m Aileen.

Originally from Cork by way of Wexford, I've been living in Dublin City since 2001.

Back in 2017 I struggled to get a cool night's sleep.  I found the power of acupuncture in stimulating my body’s own healing impressive, and I continued a course of monthly treatments for a 2 year period. This experience inspired me to study acupuncture and share its benefits with others.

Acupuncture feels like the weft pulling all my previous threads together into a rich fabric full of pattern, shape, texture and colour.

The human body is fascinating.

My Practice

I studied 8 principles of acupuncture and clinical medicine at Lansdowne college of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine and graduated in June 2022. During my years of training I ran a weekly clinic dealing with physical injuries, sleep and digestive issues, mental health wellness and fertility issues. I have a particular interest in releasing stagnant emotional blocks which can cause chronic pain and illness. I am continuously impressed by the healing and growth acupuncture inspires in me and my clients.

My Mission

In my practice I aim to provide a fully inclusive welcoming space for healing, growth, and balance.

I am a member of Acupuncturists without borders.  whose mission is “to interrupt the devastating effects of trauma by reducing suffering and helping individuals and communities find greater balance and resiliency. We use community-style ear acupuncture as a powerful, simple, safe way of helping people “reset” their nervous systems to a greater state of calm, quiet and clarity. When a group experiences this relief from chaos, hope, determination and resiliency can begin to be restored, which allows communities to move forward.”

My Joy

I am a mother and an artist of many mediums, dancer, singer, acrobat, and trapezist just to name a few. I love to be by the sea…or on the sea… or in the sea! I love to be in nature in all her glorious weather. I am an adventurer and a thrill seeker and I am pretty sure I am 99% tea!

I don’t know how many hours extra sleep I have thanks to Aileen. What I do know is that she is a gifted healer. I am deeply grateful for having the good fortune to have found her.

Dr. Laura Kehoe

“I have been seeing Aileen for ten months now for anxiety, stress and old sports injuries. After my first session I could feel a massive reduction in anxiety and ten months on I am feeling like a whole new man. I can’t thank you enough Aileen.”
